Take a SNOW DAY

We all remember that rush of waiting to see if school was canceled. This campaign bottled that feeling — encouraging families and casual skiers to make their own “snow day” at Afton Alps. Because the best winter days are the ones you don’t plan.

The Problem

Afton Alps wanted to reignite enthusiasm among casual and lapsed skiers.

The Goal

To drive visitation and create an emotional connection that felt nostalgic, local, and irresistible — positioning Afton as the perfect “just-because” winter escape.

The Solution

We built the campaign around a single, relatable truth: everyone loves a snow day.

 “Create Your Own Snow Day”, a playful campaign that turned nostalgia into action. Bright winter imagery, cozy headlines, and friendly copy invited people to call their own timeout from routine and head for the hill.

Part two extended the fun with the Afton Three Pack, offering families a way to keep the snow-day magic going all season long.
